Louis Ray

 

Owner / GM / Head Coach

 

 

Houston native, Louis Ray has operated one of the most successful women travel teams in the country. The Houston Jaguars have been owned and

coached by Louis for the past 14 years. They've traveled and played the likes of U.Conn, Tennessee, Rutgers, Baylor, Notre Dame, Texas, UTEP,

SMU, Tulane, Arizona State, Memphis, Tulsa, and quite a few other major universities.

 

Louis is a 1985 Graduate of the University of Houston where he was a student athletic trainer and a full time associate head trainer at U. of H.

He currently works in the Sports Medicine Dept. at the Texas Orthopedic Hospital, where he has created partnerships with the largest Independent

School District, the Houston I.S.D.

 

In addition to the local programs, Coach also has a partnership with former NBA coach John Lucas, where he rehabs star NBA and WNBA athletes

from sports related injuries. During home basketball games for the University of Houston, you can catch Coach Ray on the airwaves as a color

commentator.
